Although inhaled steroids are the treatment of first choice to control asthma, frequentcorticosteroid steroid administration is associated with many side effects such as adrenocorticalsuppression, Cushings syndrome and osteoporosis.The purpose of this study wasto develop a dmg delivery system to overcome the limitation of corticosteroid and improvethe therapeutic efficacy in an ovalbumin (OVA)-induced allergic rats model ofasthma.
