To the problem that Garment manufacturing industry transforms from production-oriented to service-oriented in the service economy age,on the basis of the analysis of the relevant literature,combining with the specific context of the development of the apparel industry and the theoretical foundation of mass customization,in this paper,we take Red Collar Group as a case,to analyzed their service transformation through mass customization,to inspect issues related to evolution of service transformation in garment companies.Studies have shown that: apparel manufacturers in the process of service transformation should pay attention to the integration of industrialization and information technology; Under the conditions of personalized design and mass customization,the MTM manufacturing system is useful for enterprises to get competitive advantage; During the process of service transformation,Garment manufacturing enterprises should develop their ability to obtain customer needs and product development,flexible apparel manufacturing capacity,production management and the corresponding technical support,and combine these three factors to form the mass customization capability on the corporate level.
