Alzheimers disease (AD), the most common form of dementia, is now representing one of the largest unmet medical needs.It is of great significance to find an effective approach that delays the onset or slows the progression of AD.The accumulation of extracellular β-amyloid (Aβ) is crucial in AD pathogenesis and the secondary pathological processes initiated by Aβ could independently aggravate the severity of AD.
