Spinach is a widely consumed vegetable and salad item in the UK.It is consumed year round, but only produced from April through to November in average seasons.In this paper I will outline the current production methods, harvesting systems and marketing, as I see.I will also highlight future wishes and needs for the UK growers, packers, retailers and consumers.
