Objective: Recently, sonographic elastography(SE), has already been verified to be effective for the diagnosis of various soft tissue diseases.In a previous magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) study we verified an increase in the thickness and muscle edema in the masseter muscle after static low-level contraction.No reports have addressed the changes in elasticity after low level static contraction.
