Objectives: To explore the application value of 320 dynamic volume computed tomography (CT) to localize the obstruction plane in patients with obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS).Methods: Ten patients diagnosed with OSAHS underwent 320 dynamic volume CT scans under quiet breathing while awake and apnea or hypopnea while natural sleep detected by polysomnography (PSG).Then the whole upper airway morphology was compared and analyzed to localize the obstruction planes by through multiple image reconstruction ways such as two-dimensional, three-dimensional, virtual endoscopy, especially four-dimensional dynamic visualization anatomical images.
