The non-destructive testing(NDT)of plate-like specimens are important.When using the traditional computed tomography(CT)system,the x-ray is difficult topass the plate-like specimen from side view.Furthermore,to avoid collision,thedistance from x-ray tube and rotation axis cannot be too small,which means that it ishard to get high spatial resolution.We have developed a new industrial computedlaminography(ICL)system to conquer the above problems.In this system,an x-raysource was located under a stage which has three degrees of freedom.A planardetector was installed on a C-arm which was above the stage and can be rotatedabout an axis.The axis passed through the x-ray focal spot and was perpendicular tothe stage.The detector can move along the C-arm.Using this ICL system,we canrealize digital radiography(DR),arc scan and circular scan in different spatialresolution.In order to scan a large region,we have developed a new scanning planwith image mosaic.We believe the proposed ICL system has a broad applicationprospect.
