Inverse gas chromatography (IGC) was used to measure the surface energy of graphene in this work.Using the Schultz method, decane, nonane, octane and heptane were chosen as the neutral probes to calculate the dispersive surface tension (γD).The acidic probe dichloromethane and basic probe toluene were used to detect the specific surface tension (γSP) when Good-van Oss equation was employed. The results showed that the γD and γSP of the graphene was 42.19mJ/m2 and 8.19rnJ/m2 respectively.
