Due to most of their band gaps distribute between 1.0 eV and 3.7 eV,covering a wide light range from the ultraviolet to the near infrared,metal chalcogenides have attracted extensive research interest and have shown great potential in applications of photovoltaic,information and photodetection.In addition,since hybrid materials can take advantages of each separated component and create novel functions,hybrid materials based on metal chalcogenides have also been extensively studied.Compared to their bulk counterparts,low-dimensional metal chalcogenides are expected to show novel properties and applications,benefitting from their quantum effects,small size and high surface-to-volume ratio.
