  Due to their special structures,bones and teeth have unique physical properties such as hardness and strengths.Understanding the mechanism of the formation of bone and tooth is of great importance for new materials development,because biomineralization process can provide inspiration for the design of advanced materials with desired properties.Well-organized hierarchical nanostructures with uniform size of nanocrystals,complex morphology and specific orientation were proved to be the keys to lead to the unique mechanical properties of natural hard tissues.
