Cell cycle regulation is an important feature of plant development. The cell division cycle involves nuclear and cytoplasmic events, namely organelle multiplication and distribution between the daughter cells, and also involves division and distribution of organelles such as plastids.Cell division requires a large number of complicated processes that must be executed in a spatially and temporally controlled manner.
