CNIFFI stands for the China National Institute of Food and Fermentation Industries,the only state scientific research institution for food and biotechnology in China.Since the China state 10th five-year plan from the year of 2001,CNIFFI has a significant increase in its research budget for almost more 20% each year.Especia/ly since the state l1th five-year plan from the year of 2006,CNIFFI has achieved many scientific research projects,more than 40 items from the Chinese government,such as "the 863 Program","the National Scientific Supporting Program",and "International Cooperation and Exchanging Program",and its total scientific income was over than 50 MRMB in 2007.
