Background AngioJet rheolytic thrombectomy is intended for removing thrombus in the treatment of acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) in China.The objective of this study was to compare the efficacy and 1-month clinical outcome of mechanical thrombus aspiration with the AngioJet Ultra AVX Thrombectomy Set (Medrad Inc.) versus manual thrombus aspiration with the Export catheter (Medtronic Inc.) in primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PPCI).
