Near infrared(NIR)spectroscopy technology,a common means to control the quality of the oils,farm produce,tobacco,has been used in production process,especially in the pharmaceutical industry in many developed countries.Our team began to carry out a number of applications of NIR in TCM production process,and formed a set of technological schemes and solution method,Chinese medicine production process intelligence control system,CMPPICS,in pharmaceutical production process,particularly in the field of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)pharmaceutical industry.In this research,the composition,architecture,key technologies and a typical application case of CMPPICS were discussed,providing future prospects of this technology.
