This paper provides a feasible method to synthesize the Ag nanocubes less than 6 h using the polyol method with HCl as the promoter and the reason for the rapid synthesis has been studied.Some affecting factors including concentration,reaction time,agitator speed and the injection interval have been investigated,which could be adjusted to control the size,morphology,purity and uniformity of the Ag nanocubes.
