Objective: To study the prognostic significance of the serum levels of D-dimer and fibrinogen in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) patients treated with chemoembolization.Methods: The prognostic factors in terms of overall survival were tested by a Cox model analysis among 236 patients treated with transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) for HCC.A prediction model was generated using the independent predictors.The Kaplan-Meier curve was used to describe the significance of this model to overall survival.
