This year is a year in which our national economy continues to leap forward. The national economic plan and the state budget approved by the first session of the Second National People’s Congress are encouraging the people across the country to make courageous progress and strive for greater victories. The work of industrial and commercial taxation in our country must continue to leap forward on the basis of the achievements already made in 1958 so as to be able to adapt to the rapid economic development of the country.
