一、基本情况 红旗人民公社共有565户计2,797人,男女劳动力1,060个,全社现有2个生产大队,十一个生产分队。公社位於县西侧玛纳斯河的东岸,东西宽五公里,南北长二十一公里,地形是冲积扇非主流的中下部和冲积扇下部的泉水地带,全社已耕面积8万7千余亩,59年计划播种面积2万9千余亩,生产以农业为主,兼营林牧业。该公社土壤较为复杂,分布很广,农民根据历来的生产经验,把土壤划分为白土、黄土、青土、黑土、砂土、碱盐土六种;各种土壤即有它不同的利用经验,如白土、黄土多种小麦、胡麻,青土、黑土多种水稻,砂土多种玉米、棉花,并累积了深耕、伏犁、施肥、热水泡地等丰富的经验。这些经验过去进
