张家四姐妹张元和、张允和、张兆和、张充和,她们在民国时期被称为“张家四才女”。四才女分别嫁给了中国现代著名昆曲小生顾传玠、语言学家周有光、文学家沈从文、德裔美国籍汉学家傅汉思。一门四女嫁给四位知名人物,史上罕见。张家四姐妹的经历堪称传奇。张家四姐妹的曾祖父曾任清朝政府的江苏巡抚,父亲张冀牖是著名的教育家。四姐妹中的张元和、张允和、张兆和生于安徽合肥。张充和则是在1914年出生在上海。张氏家族合肥的家在龙门巷,张冀牖1918年迁居苏州后,四姐妹苏州的家在九如巷。龙门巷与九如巷,自然就与张氏家族有了不解的因缘。
