Enriching students’ student life by using the existing curriculum resources is the proper meaning of subject teaching, as is Chinese teaching. The author’s school is a rural middle school with a small scale and no hardware resources compared with urban schools. However, in recent years, the school has been relying on school-based teaching and research and has been focusing on “reading”, “writing”, “painting” and so on.
