1955年北京市公共卫生局决定开展行业防痨工作,西单区结核病防治所即在区领导下与区卫生防疫站、区工会等有关部门进行联系研究和摸底工作。经过一个时期的酝酿,次定在本区先开展理发业、沐浴业及饮食业的防痨措施。在正式开展工作前,防治所内部先进行了动员工作,使全所工作同志从思想上重视这一新的工作,并做必要时进行倒班(如早晚上班中间休息或礼拜日上班等)的思想准备。
In 1955, the Beijing Municipal Public Health Bureau decided to carry out anti-tuberculosis work in the industry. The Xidan District TB Prevention and Control Division, under the leadership of the district, conducted research and joint work with relevant departments of the district health and epidemic prevention stations and district trade unions. After a period of brewing, the first set in the district to carry out haircut industry, bathing industry and catering industry preventive measures. Prior to the official start of the work, the prevention and control workforce was first mobilized internally so that all the working comrades would attach importance to this new work ideologically and make the idea of going to work shifts (such as taking a break from work or going to work on Sunday) when necessary ready.
