中国居民的痛风发病率,由于饮食情况大为改善和寿命延长,30年来,从传统的1%~2%,增加到目前某些富裕地区的10%~12%或更高。血中嘌呤过高是产生痛风的罪魁祸首,新近成为城市居民的时髦标志。它何以产生,如何影响人们的健康和如何预防,在易犯此症的老年居民中却没有受到应有的重视。笔者以耄耋之年,碰巧在去年4月发作了10年来第一次的急性痛风复发,获得深刻的教训,现在细加照顾,力求不再发作。乃撰写此文,供读
The incidence of gout in Chinese residents has risen from the traditional 1% to 2% in the past 30 years to 10% to 12% or more in some affluent areas over the past 30 years due to a substantially improved diet and longer life expectancy. High blood purine is the culprit gout, has recently become a fashionable symbol of urban residents. How it arises, how it affects people’s health and how to prevent it is not given due consideration among the elderly residents who are prone to the disease. In my childhood, the author happened to have made the first acute gout recurrence in 10 years in April last year.
