近几年,平罗县积极探索统筹城乡经济社会发展的新路子,县域综合经济实力不断增强,城乡居民收入稳步增长,为新阶段经济社会发展奠定了良好基础。但从加快发展的角度来衡量,还存在一些不足和差距,主要是:农村经济发展步伐慢,工业企业尤其是农产品加工企业反哺农村经济的作用没有充分发挥,城乡社会事业发展不均衡,城乡居民待遇有别的状况依然存在。
