《节能》杂志社编辑同志: 我们四川省射洪县缫丝厂在供热方面使用的是两台KZL4—13型锅炉。近期,由于使用自来水厂深井水,原水碱度4毫克当量/升以上,炉内水连续烧两天以后,碱度迅速上升到30~40毫克当量/升左右,超过了炉内碱度18毫克当量/升以下的规定。如果单纯靠排污来降低炉内碱度,实在是耗煤量太大。目前,我们对这个问题有两种看法,一种认为碱度超高会使炉体出现苛性碎化;另一种,则认为已经烧过三、四年的锅炉,炉内已有结垢,炉水碱度既使高一点儿也无妨,它有疏松结垢的作用,其根据是,每当煮炉除垢时还要加进相当数量的碱,才能达到除垢的目的。
