i860和TransputerT805是两种著名的高性能微处理机芯片,在许多分布存储器的并行计算机系统中,它们被广泛用做节点处理机,本文针对i860和T805两种芯片各自的特点,提出一种异种机混合结构的并行机节点设计,即每节点由一个i860加上一个T805构成。在为国防科委承担八·五预研课题“并行处理技术研究”而研制的样机PAR95中,我们采用了这种设计方案,证明这是一种比较合理的设计。本文主要介绍异种机耦合方式的选择及caching一致性的解决等问题。
i860 and TransputerT805 are two well-known high-performance microprocessor chips. They are widely used as node processors in many parallel computer systems with distributed memory. In this paper, we propose a heterogeneous Machine hybrid structure of parallel machine node design, that is, each node by a i860 plus a T805 form. In the prototype PAR95 developed by the Commission of Science, Science and Technology for undertaking the pre-research project “Parallel Processing Technology” for August 5, we adopted this design scheme to prove that this is a more reasonable design. This article introduces the choice of heterogeneous machine coupling and caching consistency and other issues.
