Topic I: Towards Globalization How Multinational Companies Grow Alcatel has actively used its close relationship with Chinese investment partners to integrate into the Chinese market and to help Chinese companies move into international markets. I think that Chinese companies must develop domestic and international markets at the same time, rather than choosing between them. We are not only concerned with the internal model or external model, but both. In fact, most industries will face globalization, and the concept of national borders will become increasingly unclear. As China is about to join the WTO, it will not work just to satisfy internal success. This is no longer a factor in whether a company can grow.
