《楚文学史》在文化理论视角之下， 取得了楚文学研究领域里的突出实绩与突破。该书在结构布局方面也独具特色。但在一些局部问题上也存在有失于一般化的地方。
From the perspective of cultural theory, “History of Chu Literature” has achieved prominent achievements and breakthroughs in the field of Chu literature research. The book is also unique in the layout of the structure. However, there are some problems that are not generalized on some local issues.
