初中阶段是学生的思维正处于快速发展的阶段,在此期间,学生对周围新奇的事物充满好奇和探索的欲望,这时正是培养学生自学能力的最佳时期。自主学习能力是学生获取知识的重要途径,学生只有学会自主学习,才能不断的提高自身的学习能力,提升自身的技能。因此,在新课程改革的背景下,初中英语教师必须学会转变教学观念,采用正确的教学方法来激发学生学习英语的兴趣,发挥学生学习的主动性,让学生学会自主学习。
At the junior high school stage, students’ thinking is at a fast developing stage. During this period, students are full of curiosity and exploration desire for novelty things around. At this time, it is the best time for students to develop their self-learning ability. Independent learning ability is an important way for students to acquire knowledge. Only by learning how to learn independently can students continuously improve their learning abilities and enhance their skills. Therefore, in the context of the new curriculum reform, junior high school English teachers must learn to change the teaching concept, using the correct teaching methods to stimulate students ’interest in learning English, give play to students’ initiative and let students learn to study independently.
