前炉出铁口,一般是焊接一块厚约3~4毫米的钢板,中间开一个圆孔作为出铁口。但常因出铁口处铁水冻结,多次打凿,致使出铁口钢板烧熔,孔口扩大,须更换钢板补焊,这样既浪费工时又不方便。在生产实践中,我们将出铁口钢板改装成为厚约3~4毫米、上大下小的活络梯形钢板,在其中间稍下部烧一个圆出铁口,然后锤成弧形,卡入出铁槽镶边铁空隙中(如图)。修出铁口时必须注意,将耐火泥搪塞钢板与炉壁之间的夹缝中,以免铁水沿夹缝冲出。经若干年来的生产实践证明,每当出铁口烧大不能再用时,便可把活络钢板打掉,换一块不需焊接的钢板,既减少麻烦又节省工时,方便
