2016年11月21日,由国家卫生计生委和世界卫生组织联合主办、上海市政府承办的第九届全球健康促进大会在沪开幕,国务院总理李克强出席大会开幕式并致辞。李克强表示,健康是人全面发展、生活幸福的基石,也是国家繁荣昌盛、社会文明进步的重要标志。本届大会以“可持续发展中的健康促进”为主题,对于国际社会全面实现可持续发展议程的目标将产生重要影响。希望各国加强政策对话,搭建健康治理合作平台,提高发展中国家参与的代表性和发言权;
On November 21, 2016, the Ninth World Health Promotion Congress, co-sponsored by the State Health and Family Planning Commission and the World Health Organization, was opened in Shanghai. Premier Li Keqiang attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Li Keqiang said that health is the cornerstone of people’s all-round development and a happy life. It is also an important symbol of a country’s prosperity and progress in social civilization. The current theme of the current conference, “Health promotion in sustainable development”, will have a major impact on the goal of the international community to fully realize the sustainable development agenda. We hope that all countries will step up their policy dialogue and set up a health governance cooperation platform to enhance the representation and voice of developing countries in their participation.
