绘画应该具有民族特色,应该表现出民族性,这几乎是现在绝大多数人们的意见。虽然也有些人认为民族化的提法妨碍国际化,那毕竟为数不多。但,在艺术界里,这仍是个为大家所关心的问题。所以,在这里谈谈我对民族性的认识。民族性是个发展着的观念,无法用一个固定的标准来界定它。例如:我国现代的人物画和传统的人物画就很不相同。谁也不能因此就说它们不是民族的绘画。
Painting should have national characteristics, should show the nationality, which is almost the vast majority of people’s opinions. Although some people think that the formulation of nationalism impedes internationalization, it is, after all, one of the few. However, in the art world, this is still a matter of concern to all. So, here to talk about my understanding of national character. Nationality is a developing concept that can not be defined by a fixed standard. For example, modern Chinese portraits and traditional portraits are very different. No one can say therefore that they are not national paintings.
