From 1990 to 1992, 48 cases of neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) were examined by CT and microcirculation of the auricles. Results The number of blood vessels in the auricle microcirculation of HIE children was significantly decreased compared with normal neonates, Obviously expanding, and the velocity of blood flow significantly slowed down, the difference was very significant, which suggested that newborn infants with acute cerebral circulation disorder had a positive correlation with the extent of brain injury reflected by CT (r = 0.313, P <0.05). Also had a positive correlation with the severity of HIE (r = 0.512, P <0.01), indicating that cerebral microcirculation plays an important role in the pathogenesis of HIE.
