毛文书教授是我国现代眼科学界享有盛誉的老前辈、国内外著名的眼科学专家,生前任第七届全国人民代表大会代表、卫生部教材编审委员会委员,中华医学会理事,中山医科大学中山眼科中心主任兼防盲治盲办公室主任、一级教授,因病救治无效,于一九八八年九月一日下午四时十分在广州逝世,终年七十八岁。毛文书教授是四川省乐山县人,一九一零年三月出生,一九三七年毕业于四川华西大学医学院,获医学博士学位,并在华西大学存仁医院任
Professor Mao Wenshu is a prestigious veteran in modern ophthalmology in China. He is a famous expert in ophthalmology both at home and abroad. He was the former representative of the Seventh National People’s Congress before his death, a member of the Editorial Board of Ministry of Health, member of Chinese Medical Association, Zhongshan Ophthalmic Department of Zhongshan Medical University Director of the Center and Director of the Prevention Office of Blindness, a professor of first grade, died of illness in Guangzhou at 4:01 on September 1, 1988, at the age of seventy-eight. Professor Mao Wenshu is a native of Leshan County, Sichuan Province. He was born in March 1910 and graduated from West China University School of Medicine in 1937 with a doctor’s degree in medicine.
