The International Health Organization has published the organization’s forecast and ranking of the health life of the residents of 192 member states. The predicted healthy life has reduced the time that a person may suffer from illness in his/her lifetime. The average living time of Japanese residents was 74.5 years, ranking first. This is the first time in the history of the World Health Organization that a healthy life expectancy has been predicted for each member country. It is reported that this forecast is for the member states in 1999.
