《义勇军进行曲》由田汉作词,聂耳作曲。田汉(1898——1968),湖南长沙人,戏剧活动家、剧作家、诗人,从“五四”运动起,投身于新文化运动,后从事戏剧事业。1932年参加中国共产党,任“左翼戏剧家联盟”党团书记,中共上海中央局文化工作委员会委员,抗日战争时期,从事抗日救亡的文化宣传活动。建国后,他历任中央人民政府政务院文化教育委员会委员,文化部戏剧改进局局长,艺术事业管理局局长,中国文学艺术界联合会副主席,中国戏剧家协会主席、党组书记,当选为第一、第二届全国人大代表,政协第一届全体会议代表,第
