为了适应坑道施工打仰孔，我队将北探厂生产的XJ—100型钻机进行了改装，经试验取得了初步效果。改装的XJ-100型钻机见附图。改装方法：将XJ-100型钻机机架去掉不用，改用上下两个托盘。上托盘用来固定钻机，下托盘固定75千瓦电机。上下两个托盘，由φ89两根顶杠支承，钻机的三角皮带的松紧度，由φ89顶杠移动下托盘进行调整。为了解决向上孔倒杆，防止钻具下滑，在孔口控装了一个联动式夹持器。
