近年来,由于使用了联合掘进机,改进了钻眼操作(采用钻爆方法掘进巷道时)和装岩设备,因而发展了煤炭工业的巷道掘进作业机械化。尽管巷道掘进设备在数量上有所增加,在质量上有所改善,但采准作业的劳动生产率仍未达到很高的技术经济指标。特别是在采用钻爆法时,开拓巷道和采准巷道的平均掘进度为65米/月,劳动效率为0.13~0.14米/班,手工劳动量超过掘进循环中总劳动量的80%。用联合掘进机掘进巷道时,这些指标有所好转,用这种方法掘进巷道的平均速度为160米/月,劳动效率0.23~0.24米/班。
