中药材手册的出版是中药界待之已久的一件大喜事。它包含着党和政府对中医中药的亲切关怀,标志着祖国医药学又向前迈进了一步。它是一部新的本草,它继承了数千年来全国無数中药工作者师承口授的宝贵经验。从本刊1959年10月号所载:“編写中約材手册的几点体会和希望”一文中可以看出,本书是大跃进的产物,是大协作的結晶。本書的編写,从开始收集資料到编写完成的全部过程,充分体現了党的羣众路綫以及固有经驗与科学分析相結合的工作方法。
The publication of the handbook of Chinese herbal medicines is a joyous event for the Chinese medicine community. It contains the party and the government’s cordial care for traditional Chinese medicine, and marks a step forward for the motherland’s medicine. It is a new herbal medicine. It inherited the valuable experience of thousands of Chinese medicine practitioners dictated by the country for thousands of years. From the article published in the October issue of the Journal of the People’s Republic of China: “A few experiences and hopes in the preparation of the ”Force Book", we can see that this book is the product of the Great Leap Forward and is the result of a great collaboration. The preparation of this book, from the beginning of the collection of data to the completion of the preparation of the entire process, fully reflects the party’s mass line and the combination of inherent experience and scientific analysis of the working methods.
