Introduction The study of gas-liquid inclusions in minerals allows for the determination of certain physical parameters such as pressure and temperature during a particular geologic period and this is the only way to understand the solution chemistry present during this particular period. As the research progresses, it is evident that there is a need to understand the detailed chemical equilibrium of the components in the inclusion. If the first set of methods, such as microthermometry, mineral crushing, UV fluorescence, etc., yields qualitative and semi-quantitative results, then the solution’s ion or gas analysis
