上一期笔者着重介绍了宫粉郁金的药用价值,这里主要谈谈它的栽培管理方法。宫粉郁金是多年生草本植物。其主根茎卵球形,长4～5厘米,直径约2.5～3.5厘米。叶基生,直立,椭圆状披针形,长14～39厘米,宽4.5～7厘米,两面均被柔毛。穗状花序长10～15厘米,具密集的苞片,大而宿存,基部彼此连生呈囊状,顶端苞片紫红色、红色、粉红色、白色,中下部苞片绿色,苞片内开出1至多朵黄色小花,整体看来鲜丽娇美(见上期彩页)。宫粉郁金一年开两次花,4～5月(即侧花期)宝塔状的花序从根茎抽出,先花后叶或花叶同出,花总梗短,仅7～10厘米长。春季的花适于盆栽(见照片)。到7～8月(即顶花期),花序又从叶鞘假茎顶部抽
