２月４日至２１日，由《解放军报》记者和 兰州军区摄影、摄像骨干组成的’９９春节西北边 陲行摄影采访组一行６人，放弃新春佳节与家人 团聚的美好时机，千里迢迢，前往地处西北边陲， 人称“雪海孤岛”的红山嘴、白哈巴等一线边陲采 访。在采访的十多个日日夜夜里，采访组的同志与 守卡官兵同吃、同住、同巡逻、同乘一个马拉爬犁……一线守卡官兵艰苦戍边、无私奉献的忘我精 神，深深震撼着采访组的每个成员，他们在用手中 的照相机、摄像机形象地记录下那感人一幕幕的 同时，还在夜晚昏暗的灯光下，记下了一篇篇感人 肺腑的日记。现选登《解放军报》记者周朝荣日记 三则，以飨读者。
