In order to make a non-destructive inspection of the reinforced concrete protection layer, with the help of the Building Structure Research Institute of China Construction Research Institute and the Beijing Municipal Construction Engineering Bureau, our institute and Jinan City Hardware Special Equipment Factory jointly developed a reinforced concrete protective layer tester. The instrument was tested in industrial technology in Beijing, Shanghai and Shandong, and was commissioned by the Construction Bureau of the State Construction Commission to carry out a serious appraisal of the instrument.
