Cholesteatoma may be a late complication of temporal bone fractures. The literature discusses most of the temporal bone trauma involving its early clinical manifestations, such as the type of temporal bone fracture, sensorineural or conductive deafness, cerebrospinal fluid leakage and facial paralysis. Rarely noted rare outcomes are usually the long-term consequences of temporal bone trauma, such as the development of middle ear and mastoid cholesteatoma. The authors report that the temporal bone fractures occurred in about three, six and seven years after cholesteatoma occurred in 3 cases. Although the histological examination of traumatic cholesteatoma is completely the same as that of non-traumatic cholesteatoma, the causes are different. May occur a few years after trauma. The formation of the temporal bone may be the formation of the skin directly into the middle ear and mastoid or due to the skin by the fracture of the inward growth. Due to traumatic cholesteatoma more
