详细介绍目前国外几种相控阵地面制导雷达的现状、发展概况及工作性能,尔后对相控阵雷达的技术发展趋势作了重点叙述.认为,未来相控阵制导雷达的主要研究方向是致力于实现全空域工作,增强自适应控制雷达参数的能力,降低成本,减轻重量,以及解决多功能与雷达参数最佳选择之间的矛盾等.为此,需从两个方面着手工作:一是从系统设计中寻求技术途径;二是研究实用的相控阵天线阵.
