July 4, 1776, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the dawn of silence. The war capital of the thirteen North American rebel colonies appears to have no indication that an important decision will be made here, and that day will in fact have a far-reaching impact on the living conditions and aspirations of all humanity. It was dawn and Thomas Jefferson woke up in the apartment he rented.
