新民主主义革命时期,厦门是我国工人阶级诞生最早的地区之一。亦是福建省内开展革命活动的较早地方之一。诸凡省史上的许多重大事情,多与厦门有关。如1926年2月,在厦门大学成立了福建省第一个党支部——中共厦门大学支部;大革命时期声势浩大的收回海后滩斗争,第二次国内革命战争时期,中共福建省委一度设在厦门,1930年5月,由省委成功地领导了震撼全国的“厦门破狱”事件;抗日战争时期,“厦门儿童救亡剧团”在国内及香港地区和越南、柬埔寨2个国家均很有影响。所以研究厦门党史,是一项很有意义的工作。
During the period of the new-democratic revolution, Xiamen was one of the earliest areas in which the working class of our country was born. It is also one of the earlier places in Fujian Province to carry out revolutionary activities. Many major events in the history of Zhuo Van are mostly related to Xiamen. For example, in February 1926, the first branch of CPC in Fujian Province was set up at Xiamen University - the branch of Xiamen University of China. During the Great Revolution, the Hohai Backstallation was drastically resumed. During the second Revolutionary Civil War, the CPC Fujian Provincial Committee once set up In Xiamen, in May 1930, the Provincial Party Committee succeeded in leading the “Xiamen Jailbreaking Prison” that shocked the whole country. During the Anti-Japanese War, “Xiamen Children’s Salvation Theater Company” was well known in China and Hong Kong as well as in Vietnam and Cambodia influences. Therefore, the study of the history of Xiamen, is a very meaningful work.
