1961年8月13日至23日,巴西副总统若奥·贝尔希奥·古拉特应中国国家副主席董必武的邀请,率领巴西政府贸易代表团访问了中国。这是巴西国家领导人首次访华,也是新中国成立后第一位来访的拉丁美洲国家领导人。
From August 13 to August 1961, Brazilian Vice President Joao Bezio Guharat led the trade delegation of the Brazilian government to China at the invitation of Dong Biwu, the Vice-President of China. This is the first visit by a Brazilian national leader to China and the first Latin American leader to come after the founding of new China.
