Recently, the International Air Transport Association (IATA) released an annual survey entitled Global Passenger Survey. This survey of nearly 7,000 air travelers worldwide shows an important finding: over 80% of airline passengers said they are happy Interested airlines and airports provide more information about themselves in exchange for a better “customized travel experience.” Other important trends identified in the report include the growing desire of passengers to automate several traditional airport service processes by themselves.
