In this paper, we analyze the coupling relationship between the long-term vertical latitudinal change in the western Pacific low latitudes and the SST field in the eastern and western equatorial Pacific through statistical correlation analysis. The analysis shows that the long-term variation of the latitudinal circulation in the Western Pacific low latitudes, ie Walker circulation and Walker circulation, is not completely controlled by the East-West SST gradient in the equatorial Pacific Ocean. The appearance of Nino phenomenon is closely related to the changes of SST in the western part of the western Pacific and the South China Sea and the activities of the zonal vertical circulation in the western Pacific. The anomalous change of the zonal circulation in the western Equatorial Pacific is 2-3 months earlier than the anomalous change of the SST in the eastern Pacific Ocean, about one quarter.
