兴宁县环境卫生管理所,现有干部职工212人。该所担负着县城58条街道的清扫任务和9座公厕的粪便管理,日清垃圾100多吨。在各级领导的重视和全所同志的努力下,兴城镇连续9年被省、市、县评为文明卫生城镇,该所也多次被评为先进单位。6月底的一天,笔者冒着菲菲细雨,在兴城镇人大秘书老杨的陪同下,来到兴宁县环境卫生管理所,登门采访该所所长兼党支部书记、兴城镇人大代表肖
Xingning County Environmental Sanitation Management Office has 212 existing cadres and workers. The Institute is responsible for the cleaning of 58 streets in the county and the manure management of 9 public toilets. The daily clearance of garbage is more than 100 tons. With the attention of leaders at all levels and the efforts of the comrades, Xingcheng Town has been rated as a civilized health town by the provinces, cities, and counties for nine consecutive years. The Institute has also been repeatedly rated as an advanced unit. One day at the end of June, the author braved Fei Fei drizzle and accompanied by Secretary of the People’s Congress of Xingcheng People’s Congress Lao Yang. He came to the Xingning County Environmental Sanitation Management Office and went to interview the director and secretary of the Party Branch of the Institute and the representative of the Xiaoxing People’s Congress.
